Chapter 12

There is a God and He is making it rain!

Have you ever had just one of those days where nothing goes your way, no matter how well planned or how hard you work. Sometimes it looks like you live under a dark cloud and we all wait for the "silver lining." What if the clouds don't go away and there is no silver lining, only rain and lots of it. That is my story for the last few years of my existance.

I have had many occassions in the past that were bad experiences but they all went away and I got over them just as the cliche tells us. But, then again, when you have these bad experiences pile up on you at a relentless pace, well that is another story.

It all started in January, 2005. The year started well. I watched the ball drop at Times Square, took a cup of kindness yet for auld lang syne, watched the parade and ate and drank like merry men. Nothing extraordinary happened, nor were the events that lie ahead anticipated. But the crap hit the fan and it was spread far and deep!
